Robert Gates is a second-generation real estate broker and auctioneer based in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Building on the foundation laid by his father, Craig Gates—who founded the company in 1968—Robert took to the family business early and began his auctioneer career in 1991.
Over the past three decades, Robert has cultivated unmatched expertise in both traditional real estate and auction-based marketing. In 1996, he earned his real estate broker’s license, enabling him to guide clients through a wide range of real estate transactions.
Depth of Experience & Professional Leadership
Robert’s extensive career extends well beyond the auction world. He has served in leadership roles across the North Carolina real estate community, including as President of the Lincoln County Board of Realtors in 1999, and as a Director with the North Carolina Association of Realtors.
